We are blessed to have a fantastic team at The Brambletye Hotel, with staff and managers going above board to look after each other - hence the reason most of our staff members have been with us for so long! 

Currently we are recruiting for a Second Chef and Front of House staff.

Second Chef 

We are currently accepting applications to join our kitchen team at the Brambletye Hotel.

This is a part-time position for somebody with great experience.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Prepping, cooking and presenting all dishes on the menu
• Constantly upholding our high food hygiene standards and following the rules of health and safety
• Monitoring food wastage and portion size to maintain profit margins
• Working independently in the kitchen and able to run shifts when required - therefore experience is essential.

The ideal candidate would have the following qualities:

• Confident if working alone in the kitchen
• Experience with prepping, cooking and serving British Cuisine menu's
• Can take direction from our Head Chef and work to his guidelines
• Versatile to adapt to menu changes, allergies and dietary requirements
• A calm, positive attitude who must be able to work well in a team
• Punctual and reliable

Front of House Team Member

We are currently seeking a new full time and part time Front of House Team Members.

If you're bright, bubbly, polite and passionate about good service, food, wine and beer we want to hear from you! Our team are very easy going, are often socialising outside of work too and love welcoming new people into our little family. 

Desirable qualities:

• Previous hospitality experience, especially management experience would be seen as advantageous 
• Not afraid of going the extra mile for customers and colleagues
• Professional, friendly and hard working
• Can take direction from managers
• Are happy taking on more responsibilities for more rewards
